President Solih’s administration has made arrangements for fishermen to get oil at STO rate at MIFCO sites through STO’s subsidiary FSM. FSM to start providing services on January 3, 2023 says Former MIFCO CEO Ismail Fauzee.
Speaking to residents of Kaafu atoll Gaafaru President Muizzu said the government is working to offer fuel at STO rates similar to vessels of the state-owned fish company, MIFCO, in Kooddoo and Felivaru. in regards to this announcement : In a ” X” Post Former CEO Ismail said President Solih’s administration has made arrangements for fishermen to get oil at STO rate at MIFCO sites through STO’s subsidiary FSM. FSM started providing services on January 3, 2023.
“On January 3, 2023, the two companies signed an agreement to start the service from FSM. CEO Ismail Fauzee signed on behalf of MIFCO and MD Mohamed Qassam signed on behalf of FSM. From January 3, 2023, FSM started providing fuel to fishermen at MIFCO’s Kooddoo and Addu Fisheries Complex, while FSM started Providing this service from February 3, 2023 to Felivaru Fisheries Complex along with FSM oil Huts in male’ areas” ismail said.
